Nikita completed her Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Banasthali Vidyapith University in July 2020. Soon after finishing her graduation, she resolved to pursue her higher education abroad. Unfortunately, the world witnessed a global lockdown due to the COVID-19 crisis that forced many students, including Nikita, to put their study abroad plans on hold. But the pandemic did not shake Nikita’s determination as she zealously started her entrance exam preparation to be ready to embark on her study abroad journey once the pandemic ended.
Initially, Nikita had shortlisted
Germany to pursue her higher studies as she had completed a level one German
course from her university. However, she later decided to opt for a course from
English speaking countries as it will open a new window of opportunities post
completion of her course. She began to prepare for IELTS and got the results in
September. After successfully clearing the entrance exam, she began researching
universities to study abroad. Although studying abroad seemed like an arduous task due to the
unprecedented health crisis, she persisted. Eventually, her perseverance paid
off as the UK opened its borders to welcome international students.
Nikita passionately proceeded with her
next set of plans as her friend studying in the UK further confirmed that the
UK had opened the borders for study abroad students. She shortlisted the
educational institutions based on study programs, their respective tuition
fees, the cost of living and other relevant parameters. She selected a few
varsities that met her requirement and initiated the application process.
Finally, her hard work and patience won her 3 to 4 offer letters. She chose
Master’s in International Management from Regent College as it is a 1-year
course that suits her plan.
