almost everywhere you go, whether it is a restaurant, a bar, transportation,
movies, salons, etc. Make sure you take your student identification card
wherever you go and do not be afraid to ask for and avail these student discounts.
The UK is home to international students from all over the world with
different cultures and languages. That means you get the opportunity to meet
students that have been brought up much differently than you have. Be open to
all experiences, try different types of food, and widen your horizons. You
could also join clubs for international students; go out for school-sponsored
trips, etc.

to work 20 hours a week either on-campus or off-campus. Take advantage of this
opportunity and get a part-time job or internship to make some extra money and

close to many different European countries and you can usually find airfare for
really cheap. Take advantage of the fact that you have the freedom to travel
and check different places off your bucket list.
